Peek-A-Boo

Some cute pictures of Jax... in his PJs! He is starting to play peek-a-boo which is really cute to watch. Jaxon is also cutting like 3 or 4 teeth at once... his 1 yr molars are already coming in (1 broke through already) and an eye tooth is about to break through! The little stinker has ZERO desire to walk or stand on his own! He is cruising everywhere, but has to hold on to something and can crawl just about as fast as Mason can walk! As soon as you stand him up and start to let go, he starts to lean back and fall on purpose... sticks his head back and everything and thinks it's funny! I guess when you can get carried everywhere or just sit in one spot while your brother entertains you, there is no reason to have to walk on your own! Funny thing is that Mason was RUNNING by now and my little "chill baby" is happy as can be just sitting back and taking it all in! Maybe he will surprise us on his 1st birthday and take his 1st step!
Me and My Daddy

Aren't I cute!!

LOVE my highchair because that means it's EATING TIME!!

Playing peek-a-boo

Oh, so I have to cover my eye's when I play!

Team Galaxy

Mason had his first soccer practice this past Wednesday (Apr 8). Dave thought they were at the wrong field because Mason was abt 5 inches taller than all of the other kids!! Mason did such a great job that the coach even asked if he had ever been on a soccer team because he's really good. You know that made Dave's entire day!! Below are pictures of Mason with all of his gear on. I'm sure we will have lots more entertaining pictures and stories as the season unfolds!! Stay tuned!

Maryland March 2009

The boys and I took a last minute trip to Maryland after Uncle Matt came to visit. Yes, I flew across the country by myself (on the flight back home) with the boys and although it was exhausting, we didn't have any meltdowns... the boys, nor myself! I kept telling everyone that if they heard about a woman that had a nervous breakdown on the airplane it would be me!! :) The trip was totally worth it, though.
We stayed 2 weeks and in that time we got to visit with all of the family and spent a day in Washington, DC to see the National Cherry Blossoms. Of course, the 2 weeks flew by and it is never enough time to do everything and see everyone, but it was nice to get back to MD for a little bit. Below are some of the pictures that I scanned from the visit. Enjoy!
Aunt Kiki and Mason having some "cocktails" at the beach house!

Grammy and her grandkids at the Cherry Blossoms in DC.
Only missing Collin which will make his debut in June!

Where's Mason?? Can you find us? We are at the very top of the
Lincoln Memorial (hint... I'm in the pink sweater) Mason's response when
we went in to see "honest Abe" was, "Mom, it's too dark in here!!"

The Holson Grandchildren (36 of the 38 Grandkids)
You can only imagine how hard it was to get all of us in the same location.
The last time we got a family picture I think I was in like 6th grade.
We have grown tremendously since then... in size and numbers!!

Some of the Great-Grandchildren are in the bottom picture.
