October 2010

Well, time is surely traveling fast in this house! Madison just turned 5 weeks old this past Monday and I cannot believe it. She had her 1mth check-up and gained over 2lbs and is finally starting to fit into all of her adorable outfits!! Mommy is excited she is finally getting to play dress-up with her, Maddie not so much! She screams even when just getting her diaper changed, so it's like torture when she has to get dressed and don't get started on the bows! She's in for it as she gets older!! :)

We have ventured out a few times w/ just mom and the 3 kids, but not too much on our own! It's nice when we have help to keep track of all 3. Ogie came out to visit for a whole week, so that was a treat! The boys tried to exhaust her, but she was able to hold her own and keep up with them while squeezing in some Maddie time as well. One of our "experiences" was our trip to Jump n' Jammin. I should have taken it as a sign not to leave the house when the Kid's Museum was closed and the other place, Pretend City closed at 1pm that day as well. BUT we wanted to get out, so we went! Let's just say lunch ended abruptly when Jaxon puked all over the floor and on my shoe. Imagine this, Jaxon sick, Ogie trying to cleaning him up, Madison screaming b/c she's hungry and Mason saying his stomach hurts and he's going to get sick! Luckily we were in a mall, so we were able to get Jaxon a new outfit and made it to Jump n' Jammin after about 2hrs! We had a blast there and stayed for over 2hrs, but of course before we are leaving I decide to feed Madison and she then decides to PROJECTILE VOMIT all over me and herself! Let's just say it was time to go home at that point! Hey, we made it through w/ no tears from the adults!! Thank goodness Mary Kay was there b/c I would have had a nervous breakdown and been crying along w/ the kids!

We are excited for Halloween this weekend and are going to a party this afternoon to start celebrating. Mason is going to be Iron Man and Jaxon decided on Thomas the Train. Madison will be a butterfly if her wings and antenna ever get here!! Hopefully, next year we can coordinate the 3 of them, but they each have a mind of their own and don't want to cooperate w/ mom! :)

Here is the snapfish link to all of the recent pictures if you want to order some or just view them! Enjoy!!
